“Stay in school and get a good education so you will be able to get a career, not
struggle, and start your happy life.” This is the famous line of just about every adult I have
ever come across or had a conversation with. Yes, they want us to stay in school and get a
good education, but what they do not tell you is how expensive everything is. The tuition,
books, and boarding are just a couple of the things you have to pay for when you enter
college. If you receive little to no financial aid and no scholarships, paying off student loans
may become your worst nightmare for many years. This leads us to the question, is the cost
of college too high? Yes, the cost of college is too high and should be lowered because more
people would have the opportunity to attend college if it was cheaper, furthering your
