Corporate Governance Assignment
The three organizations’ policies I will be comparing, and contrasting are
Publix Super Market incorporation, Walmart, and Ikea. All three of these
organizations are stores, with groceries, and furniture. The code of ethics can be
defined as a guide for the ethics of how people within an organization should act and
make decisions. Every company is different in the way they choose to run their
businesses. Meanwhile, many businesses are similar in a variety of ways. For
example, many companies strive for putting the quests first, helping in any way the
customer may want to continue doing business with them.
To start off, Publix Super Market Inc. their code of ethics emphasizes
integrity and transparency. They have a five–point mission statement, according to

that it calls on all employees to make Publix the “premier quality food retailer in the
