Abstract
Corporate fraud is happening all over the world with large successful companies. At least it looks
successful on the financials report of a company. In this paper I will be discussing corporate
fraud and the organization who is in charge of protecting investors against corrupted companies.
I will inform about what corporate fraud is, who it is done by and what consequences it comes
with. There are many cases where fraud within a company has caused it to be destroyed. This
company will also be discussed in this paper. Corporate fraud is a serious crime and can severely
destroy a company and its reputation.

Corporate Fraud
There are many big corporations around the world that operates on a daily basis. These
companies operate based on their revenue and expenditures. If there is no revenue there is no
way to pay the expense for a company to keep running as a business. Large corporations needs to
maintain current and accurate financial records of the business. The person in charge of these
records needs to ensure everything is running smoothly and successful. This person can be the
chief executive officer or the chief financial officer of the company. There must ensure no fraud
is happening within the corporation which can caused the company to go bankrupt. There are
many ways a company can go bankrupt and close down. One major disaster can be corporate
fraud. When there are false reporting of the financials numbers this is called corporate fraud.
