Convocation
The day of convocation was a memorable moment for the all incoming freshman as well as the
returning students. Convocation at Florida Memorial University is a joyous occasion in which all
staff members, students, close friends and family of the school come together and welcome the
new pre-alumni and provide them with advice on their success at this university as well as give
them proper to tips to ensure longevity in the future. As I sat in the audience ponder back on last
year’s convocation remembering that I was once in their shoes. I remembered being nervous and
