While meeting with my French tutor, I was able to ask him a handful of questions about fashion.
The first question I asked, was about his familiarity with Coco Chanel. He explained he was
familiar with Coco Chanel and that Chanel is a very well-known designer. I told him I know
Coco Chanel very well because I had to learn about her in one of my fashion classes! Next, I
asked him for his opinion on Coco Chanel, he said he does not know too much about Chanel, but
that he knows it is very expensive! After that question, I asked him if he had a favorite fashion
designer. He said he does not have a favorite fashion designer. I told him my favorite designer is
Christian Dior. After that, I asked him whether or not fashion plays a big part in his life. He said
it does not play a big part in his life, he is not super picky about clothing. I told him fashion plays
an important role in my life because it is part of my studies. The interaction I had with my tutor
helped contribute to me developing a greater appreciation for cultural diversity because it is
super useful to see how wide-known impactful names in fashion such as Coco Chanel can be.
