For this assignment I choice to recall a conversation two of my family members had about
a week ago today. Within this essay you will learn the effectiveness of the participants’
communication. The purpose of the conversation was to inform one another of the work
schedule to have babysitting covered. Danny and Jennifer is a couple with a one year old
baby. They have to communicate with each other weekly about their work kept a nice tone
of voice and eye contact. They paid attention to each other and received a massage each.
They were able to give feedback that was useful and right to the point. This was not the
first time they had this conversation so they were used to it. The spoke to each other one at
time and knew what they would have to do if they had to work the same hours. Danny
asked Jennifer if she was going to call the sitter or should he? Jennifer stated she would
take care of it no worries. Jennifer stated she will ask to have the sitter from nine a.m. into
four p.m. Danny agreed that would give him enough time to make it home from work.
Jennifer called the baby sitter and let her know what days and times they would need
service.
I would give this conversation between Danny and Jennifer a ten. The communication was
affective and developed perfectly. Both were able to make sure there was no conflict in
scheduling. Each individual had their data to share with each other on time.
