From the Contract Analysis Case Study, there is no contract that Marshall and I signed in
regards to the supply of Muscadine grapes that is legally binding. Our dealings are purely
premised on our relationship as friends who knew each other by attending the same church.
Although we have been conducting business together for the last few months, as a businessman,
my sole aim is to maximize profits. Since my family company has continued to supply Marshall
with the grapes, Marshall’s obligation is only that of ensuring that he honors his payments; a
thing he has strived to do though he defaults in his payments.
It is true to say that from the successful business that my family’s company and Marshall
have been doing, Marshall has been appreciating good profits. I therefore presume that the cost
