Contract Analysis
A very serious and important contract that just about everyone will enter at some
point of his or her life is a Residential Lease. This is the first major contract that I
entered in. At the time it was very overwhelming and this 34-page document made
little to no sense to me, as I had no official background in the legal studies of
contracts. After reevaluating this contract with a bit more experience thanks to this
course, each line of what once seemed like meaningless words of a foreign language
now make a lot more sense to me and I understand why they were included and
worded in such specific ways. This Residential Lease covers a huge array of topics
covered in this course such as definiteness of the agreement, communication of
acceptance, the mailbox rule, assignment of duties, and limitation of transfer.
