Contemporary Debates
Introduction:
This is a contemporary debate on public health approach to obesity where it is not a concern for
the individuals. In this essay, there will be discussed about obesity, obesity and public health, the
measure of obesity (Chooi, Ding and Magkos, 2019). There will also be discussed about ageing
population and costing of care for aging population, end of life and current professional approach,
health inequalities and how are the government addressing these. We all know that obesity is one
of the serious disease that leads to death also and the obesity rate is increasing day by day. Obesity
is related with our mental health. Furthermore, there will be discussed all the issues and factors
which is related with obesity (Axon et al., 2016). We share the same goal: reduction of obesity and
a healthier life for people. Now a day, obesity is one of the major global problem than starvation.
Naturally, the increased availability of food worldwide is something that mankind has tried
