Describe the Option
TVO can increase its role as Ontario’s delivery and innovation
partner for digital education inside as well as outside the
classroom. As, it can be done by technological advancement. So,
this strategy should be followed by the company to enhance and
retain their customer-base.
Benefits/ Advantages
It will help TVO to attract more customers as 45% of its
customers chose internet videos and other non-traditional
methods, but doing this will help in technological
advancement and customers will retain to TVO.
It will also help to increase its revenue as with addition of
digital education inside the classroom more customers will
add and more revenue will be generated.
The objective of government ministry and TVO both will
be fulfilled as it is to provide education in all possible ways
to Ontarians and considering that government may also
increase their yearly grants.
Critical
Success
Factors
To adopt this strategy, they need technological
advancement and modern technology so that people may
not move to other non-traditional resources.
They need to generate funds from government or other
sources as it will cost big.
Their staff should be well coordinated and focused to
achieve the goal of digital education inside and outside the
classroom and abroad.
They need well planned and focused strategy and a good
management to take care of its implementation.
Threats/
Risks
If they will not be able to collect enough funds to achieve
this goal.
It is also a risk of providing in class digital education, as if
the customers do not like it or they may not be able to
attract enough customers, it may lead to losses.
Their competitors may bring something better and
technologically advanced.
Incurring high costs and not getting expected revenue or
income is also a threat

Option?
It can only be possible though technological advancement. So, by
adopting modern technology digital advancement is possible. As,
the company needs revenues to cover its losses and it has already
removed its 10% employees so to discontinue the process of
closures and removal they need technological advancement and
innovation.
