In 2019 a worldwide pandemic emerged. The pandemic set limitations in people’s lives for the
sake of safety. For months restrictions to go outside prevented people from leaving their homes. An article
in the builder blog by Lydia Lee has highlighted the pandemic as one of the reasons that health and
wellness went to the forefront of the mind for new-home builders and buyers. During the pandemic one of
the main occurrences in a home was poor air circulation which led to one of the 10 largest home builders
in the United States, Taylor Morrison to make a whole-home air filtration and water filtration system,
along with other special features that were standard in all the homes. This was also led by a survey that
revealed the younger generations interest in homes that support health and wellness. Many believe that
