The bill I chose was senate bill 2773, the Protecting Children and America’s
Homeland Act of 2014 . This bill is an amendment to the Wilbur Wilberforce
Trafficking Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 . This bill states that
unaccompanied minors who are not victims and are not fearful of persecution shall
be placed for removal, eligible for a non costly return to their country and are
provided with a legal counsel . Currently the secretary of state is negoatiating with
countries contiguous to the United States but this bill would include Canada, El
Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico and other countries . It also states that any
unaccompanied alien child (UAC) who is a criminal or a gang member will be subject
to expedited removal, but a UAC can not be removed during a legal preceding . The
