There is often controversy on which is the betting option when it comes to buying against
renting. This is a hard decision in today’s society, not to mentions it is one of the biggest
decisions one is going to make in their lifetime. Many people often wonder if it is better to rent
so one is not settled in one location or if buying is the better option due to the investment and
potential income it may provide. The discussion of some considerations a potential homeowner
should consider will be discussed in this analysis of the two choices.
One should consider what their ability is to pay each month in rent or mortgage. Depending
on where one is looking to buy or rent, the location will determine down payments, insurance,
home owner’s association, and taxes. If one should decide to rent some of these costs will not
exist. However, some of this cost will be included in the rental payment monthly.
