Compare/Contrast Essay

“In the Fog” written by Milton Geiger and “The Hitchhiker” written by Lucille
Fletcher are both dramas that have many similarities and differences between each
other. This essay tells some of the similarities and differences. “In the Fog” is about a
doctor, and Zeke and Eden (ghosts from the Gettysburg battle). “The Hitchhiker” is
about a man who thought was seeing some mysterious hitchhiker but turned out to be a
ghost.
Both dramas are about ghosts and took place in the 1940’s. Also, both of these
dramas make the reader read onward because of their suspicious and scary moods.
The main characters (doctor and 34 year old man) in both dramas don’t know that Zeke
and Eden/ The hitchhiker are ghosts. Both of these dramas are plays that are in the
mystery genre. These are some of the similarities between the two.
However, they both have differences as well. For instance, “Hitchhiker” took
place throughout places in USA but “In the Fog” took place in a graveyard. “Hitchhiker”
only had 1 ghost while “In the Fog” had 2 ghosts. These are some examples of the
differences.
Personally, I prefer the play “Hitchhiker” because it seems more suspicious and
makes me read onward more than “In the Fog”. My text evidence to support this is that
