Company Analysis
1. Our company’s service area would be the city of Westville, Indiana. This will
be our service area because we will be operating our brewery and bar right
off of HWY 421 in Westville and this will be are only location.
2. We believe that this is a great spot for developing our brewery and bar
because it will attract the students of Purdue University-North Central. Also,
we are very interested in providing a location where PNC students can go and
hangout and get to know other students as well as our beer that we are
making. There isn’t much to do outside of the PNC campus that brings
students together and we believe that this will help tremendously. From
experience, most universities have local bars that are mainly college students
and we think that the idea of a brewery and bar will really attract students.
Also, the microbrewery industry has spawned growing market segmentation
in the beer industry and we want our brewery to help students create a
better understanding of how beer is brewed and the whole process behind it.
3. Breweries today are constantly changing and the biggest change is that
breweries are starting to become “brewpubs”. Our company will start off to
be a brewery and a bar, which is kind of like a “brewpub”; however, we will
not be offering food right away. Our plan is to become a successful brewery
that provides a bar scene. For example, we will be brewery constantly but
also be opened for hours of the nights for individuals to come in and enjoy
