After reading the short story “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allan Poe I have more respect for his
writing, because he does such a great job at making the reader want to keep going. The whole time I
was reading it my phone was going off and I had to put it on silent because I was so wrapped up with
what was going on in the story. He also does a great job with the characters the antagonist was an crazy
butler that could not look at his master eye because he thought it was haunting him, but every time he
says that he is not a “madman” he is telling us how mad he actually is. When he was saying that he
would sneak in to his masters’ room every night and watch him sleep that is crazy that is what crazy
people do. As I was reading it he started scaring me that’s how crazy I thought this man was, that’s also
why I like his writing because he really can make you emotion get the best out of you just by reading his
words. Another thing that I think he does wonderful at is he vas vocabulary that were a decent amount
