All high school seniors are troubled by the same question, “Where am I going to school
next year?” For some students, it may be entering the workforce straight out of high school or
enlisting in the armed forces. For those students who are deciding to take the next step in their
academic career, community colleges and four year colleges are two very resourceful options.
These schools allow the students with the opportunities to advance their careers. Many argue that
one school outweighs the benefits of the other. Although both establishments grants students
the ability to earn a degree, the campus life and student culture differ significantly.
Many question the quality of education and teaching that is received while attending a
community college. When in fact, the quality of the teaching staff at community colleges is equal
to those of a university. Community colleges require that stuff have a master’s or doctoral degree
