Communist Manifesto
The Communist Manifesto was written by Fredrich Engels and Karl Marx, who both
worked on the idea of Communism. Karl Marx was a German philosopher and revolutionary
socialist; he also wrote Das Kapital, which both criticized Capitalism and helped form the basis
of Marxism. Karl Marx was born in Prussia on May 5, 1818, and studied at the University of
Bonn and later became more severe with his education and enrolled at the University of Berlin.
