It is always beneficial to do reflection on ourselves. In this commentary, I would first evaluate
my achievement of the goals I had laid out in my needs analysis at the beginning of this course. I
would also mention the weaknesses that I have identified during the course. Then, I would reflect
on the process-writing approach used in this course.
The goals that I have set for myself at the beginning of the course are improving the vocabularies
and reading aspect. Since I was encouraged to use various vocabularies in the writing
assignment, I had to search for the synonyms of different words and use them in my writing
assignment. For example, I would use the word ‘illness’ to replace the word ‘diseases’ in my
writing assignment. This greatly enlarges my vocabulary bank. Next, for reading aspect, I think I
have not improved much in this aspect. It is because the focus of this course is writing but not
