Commanding Heights Journal
Episode One
The first episode of Commanding Heights showed a lot of factors that changed the
economy. Friedrich Hayek and John Maynard Keynes were two economists with two very
different views. Fredrich Hayek was a believer in free markets and John Maynard Keynes
believed in strong government regulations of markets. The two of them had an ongoing rivalry
on whose beliefs and theories were more effective.
