Purpose
The final exam is designed for students to demonstrate their knowledge of the texts we have read
and discussed in the second half of the semester.
Format
The format of the final exam will be very similar to your quizzes and midterm. You will need to
answer true/false, fill in the blank, multiple-choice, as well as short essay questions.
While this is not an open book exam, each student is allowed to bring an index card to the exam.
Your index card should be the standard size: 3×5. You may include any hand written notes on
this index card; you may write on both sides. You are required to turn in your index card with
your exam.
Use a pen, not a pencil, to write your exam. Write legibly and in complete sentences.
