To be paid or not to be.
Colligate athletes put their bodies on the line in their game of play which is intense work but not
deserving of being paid to do so while on scholarship to attend a college. Paying an athlete while also
giving them scholarship seems to be unfair to the other students that attend the college and a loss of
money to the college in general. The NFL is one of many professional leagues that pay athletes to
perform at a professional level, so paying athletes in college to do the same would defeat the purpose of
