Campus Carry Bill
Open carry on campuses is a wide debate across America and is widely discussed in the
article “Texas Lawmakers Pass a Bill Allowing Guns at Colleges” by Manny Fernandez and
Dave Montgomery. There is not a declared argument in this article. The two authors, Fernandez
and Montgomery, simply discuss the pro guns on campus side and the anti-guns on campus side
by taking quotes from supporters and opposers and discussing their views of open carry on
campuses. Over all, it seems as if the article stands leaning towards being for the open carry laws
