Classical Approach
In the past, employee followed the classical management approach. They did many
worked without their compensation. They focused on the productivity, output and efficiency.
This classical management consist the bureaucratic, administrative and scientific. This
management seeks the benefits of consumer and investors (Dr Kenneth Chao). Investors
neglected the desire of employees. Employees have poor knowledge so they don’t against the
investors. They satisfied their work. But today is the technology age. So, many employees have
become knowledge, experience, skills and others. Nowadays, they have skill, knowledge even
they have not experience. So, people don’t like oppress and want to do the work under the
traditional management system, bureaucratic systems. Employees are becoming against the
investors. If they have many skills and duty, they want to get much compensation, salary. They
want to get as much as they can. So, classical approach does not suit contemporary
organizations.
The classical approach theory is out of dated in today organizations. This theory has
many disadvantages although it has advantages. The advantages of classical approach are clear
