Vaccination in Babies
Vaccination and babies have created a lot of controversy in new moms and some
religions. There are many resources and many different opinions on if vaccinations are good or
bad for the newborn baby. My opinion on vaccinations is that they are good, and they are very
much needed in a baby’s life. They provide protection for them and other children with a fragile
immune system. There is scientific evidence that shows vaccinating your child is helpful instead
of harmful.

Why.” Pediatrics, vol. 122, no. 4, 2008, pp. 718725., doi:10.1542/peds.2007-0538.
This article is a very good article when it comes to explaining the good of vaccinating a
child. It starts off stating that because of these vaccinations your child is more protected than
ever before from many deadly diseases. They also state that diseases that use to kill or injure are
now almost completely destroyed because of these vaccinations. It also states how safe it is for a
child, and that it is very rare for a child to have an allergic reaction to a vaccination. They also
talk about how the outbreak of measles and whooping cough have been seen in these last 10
years, but if you are vaccinated then you will be almost not likely at all to catch the measles or
whooping cough. Kids that have a weakened immune system cannot receive these vaccines since
their immune system will not be able to fight back. If you vaccinate your child, then you are
protecting the kids with weakened immune systems. Vaccinations have reduced or eliminated

many diseases that once killed many people. Smallpox is an example of a disease that is no
longer around, because of the vaccinations. Vaccinations can also help the future generation
since we are preventing, and destroying diseases now. They will prevent the future generation
from having to even deal with diseases that vaccinations prevent today.

This article is of a case study that was done to figure out the link to vaccinations and
autism since most of the controversy about vaccines is that they cause autism. There was a group
of medical professionals that tested the theory that vaccinations cause autism on the homogenous
Japanese population to see if there was any proof or links between autism and vaccines. There
