Informative Speech
You will educate the audience on a specific topic. You can discuss a current trend, phenomenon, recent discovery or
anything else that would be informative. This should be something the audience is not already aware of and relates to
them. The speech is 4-6 minutes and requires a minimum of three sources.
Topic 1: How to avoid procrastination?
Topic (5 words or less): Procrastination is something everyones struggles.
Goal (what do you want your audience to understand once they have heard the speech):
Procrastination is normal but if you are in college is something us students shouldn’t be doing because its dangerous
for failing. In order to prevent procrastination is by finding a method how to your assignments before the due date.
Thesis (complete SINGLE sentence summarizing topic as you would say it in speech): A lot of people would
