China has a relatively complete and rigorous media information dissemination channels con
sists of television, radio, computer networks, newspapers and so on. Currently, the media system
of China is in the transitional period, that is, the Communist party control media hold a leading pos
t, and the market plays a part role while the influence of social media is becoming more and more
obvious. At present, there are five media systems in China — media system managed by the Com-
munist Party, the administrative system, the legal system, the social system and the internal syste
m.
Media system managed by the China Communist Party refers to the direct ideological
leadership and organizational leadership of the Communist Party concerning the run of media in-
dustry. The most significant manifestation of the media system with Chinese characteristics is the
China Communist party’s control of the media. The existence of the party tube media embodies the
Communist Party of China ‘s leadership of the media.
Administrative system refers to the relevant administrative system which manages and reg-
ulates the media activities, such as the supervisory system, the departmental supervisor system
and the punishment system as well as approval system. The rule of law system is the related legal
system which restricts the media activities, which mainly includes Constitution law, Local regula-
tions as well as rules and regulations.Now China focuses on the relationship between the media
and the judiciary, which refers to strengthen the use of legal management and supervision of the
media.
