China can innovate
The Nobel Prize in Science has been awarded annually for nearly 13 years, but it has never
had any Chinese laureate. In ways, this reflects the lack of innovation in China. Many
believe that China is just a place where people only obey the rules mechanically but cannot
create. To change this situation, some think government money should be spent more on
acquisition to bring in foreign talents and advanced technologies while others think more
attention should be given to education. The writer thinks China’s innovation ability can
only be improved when it begin to grow its own power through education and universities
can freely train students with enough government funding as well as a free and open
enough political environment.
To becoming a leading force for innovation in the world, China needs to train its own
future innovators. Traditionally opponents believe that a long time is needed waiting for
the next generation but through acquisition the result can be received efficiently. However,
never will a country become the best in creative thinking through buying other’s ideas or
technology. Not to mention that the import of talents also need time to adapt to local
market environment. At present some companies like Alibaba has established their own
universities offering business education to train their own managers ( ,2014). Therefore
innovation in China should focus on education to enhance China’s own power.
When decided to improve the innovative ability of their own, government should provide
