The article “Over 30 workers trapped after Chilean copper mine collapse” by Weik Juan,
it has been stated that an incident happened in a mining cite in Chile on august, 5 2010. The
incident trapped the lives of 34 people who were workers at the site and the incident was shared
all over the world. The author also explains about the rescue aids that were underway that
provided food, oxygen and water to those trapped in the mines. He and other researchers who are
authors of other articles also explain that the mine had been closed in 2007 but had been
reopened (Weik, 2010).
