Abstract
Childhood obesity has been a serious issue for over sometime. In the United States about 20
percent of children and young adults are overweight. Obesity is defined as, a persons body
weight at or above their body mass for their age range. Many doctors have been studying this
epidemic and have been implementing different ways to recognize the problem before it starts. In
this review I will be discussing some major key elements concerning children obesity:
1. Health concerns with childhood obesity
2. How obesity can affect a child physically
