At the birth of a newborn there several changes that take place among the members of the
society. Every member of the family has responsibility towards the newborn. Family dynamics
are the patterns in which the members of the family interact. This dynamics change when a new
member arrives into the family and tries to fit in.
The birth of a newborn has a major effect on the mother. She changes the work schedule
to have time for caring for the young one (Stevens, 2014). Even after the birth, she takes a
maternity leave from work to recover health wise. She is always close to the child to attend to it
in case for all the demands. The mother has to observe the behavior of the child closely and even
take it to the clinic for medical check-up as well as to acquire vaccines for immunization.
