Child Observation
For my observation, I decided to observe a little boy named Michael*. He is 3 years old.He has
blonde hair, is very skinny, and is quite tall for his age. Michael wore a Nike jumpsuit the day I
was able to observe him. I started my observation at 10:30 and I finished at around 12:45. The
setting was the family’s living room where his nanny, who is my friend and, and his mother both
gave me permission to observe the child. Michael’s little brother who is 1 years old also sat in the
area as well. Michael’s mom soon left after to head to work so it was just my friend, the two
children, and I left in the space.
