Which type of child care center do you feel would be best suited for you as an administrator? Why?
Find an example of a center you would be best suited for share the link and a description of the
facility
I feel the best type of child care center suited for me would have to be a Head Start. I like the idea of a
center based for the low-income children. Parents may be working hard to met ends need and need a
little extra help along the way. I would not mind giving out that help to a family in need. According to
the text, “Head Start programs offer health and social services to families and require active
involvement of parents in their child’s program” (Click, Karkos, Robertson p. 62). A program that looks
after a child and make they are getting what they need from birth into kindergarten would be a great
center to be over.

Which type of child care center do you feel you would be least suited for? Why?
The center I would feel the least comfortable over would be a Child Care for the Mildly Ill Children. For
me I do not like to see children sick and not being themselves. The idea that there are people who can
care and look after sick children. According to the text” teachers and staff will need to carefully monitor
and document the children’s symptoms and follow stringent hand washing and cleaning polices” (Click,
Karkos, Robertson p. 59). In order for a child to get well the center must be cleaned and sterilize each
and every day. The thought of running a center as this would be quite scary for me knowing I have to go
home to my own child as well.
