Has a painting ever taken you to a better place? Has it given you a good feeling or an old
memory? Warm colors and subtle lines are easy to look at and that’s one reason that makes
water colors so desirable. Water color paintings have been around for hundreds of years and
have given birth to some of the most magnificent works of art. Water color paintings are made
of a water soluble material that creates a light color when mixed with water. Unlike traditional
paintings where the materials and colors are oil based and are more thick. These colors are
easily blended and create a more transparent color. Water colors allow for lighter paintings
