Alright, so hopefully you remember that I’m the person that had to switch his project focus from his
mother’s state run institute to his father’s machinery/auto body shop because of the implications it has
on that institution, sorry about that.
I’ll preface this assignment by rst introducing this shop. It’s an auto repair shop that primarily focuses
on dump trucks and other specialized vehicles that cannot otherwise be worked on. They also are able to
inspect and work on smaller regular trucks, cars, Humvees, etc. Due to this specialized form of repair,
machining, and retro-&ng, this shop is equipped with a wide-array of tools that allow them to
complete this work. In addition to this, they have various safety measures such as industrial sized
ventilation systems, air compressors, and ventilation masks that are always easily accessible. There are
also a variety of cleaning stations, a chemical shower, and eye washing stations.
Now that we’ve sort of reviewed that, let’s move on to the assets:
Hardware Assets
Industrial Grade Welders (For machining and repairing damaged trucks, for turning trucks into dump-
trucks and vice-versa. There are also a variety of other uses that the master welder of the shop “Ken”
utilizes on a daily basis.
Plasma Cu3ers (For more specialized cu&ng, they’re able to make ho3er and more precise cuts than
normal welders and are far more expensive.)
Propane Torches (For more generalized cu&ng, like repairing bumpers, rear-ends, etc.)
