Chapter 5 and 6 summaries
Chapter 5
In chapter 5, Percy sees Mr Brunner at camp half blood. Mr Brunner starts by saying his
real name which is Chiron and also Chiron is half horse half human. Mr Brunner than said
my year at Yancy academy was to instruct you. Percy said you came just to teach me. Mr
Brunner than called Annabeth over and told her to set cabin 11 for Percy. Annabeth is a
camper who has been there for a long time.Than Mr D said do you believe in gods. Percy
said no I don’t. Mr Brunner started to teach Percy about Greek mythology and asked Percy
if he remember some of the stuff they went over in Latin class.Than Mr D asked if he can
speak with Grover. Percy wondered if he will be okay. Mr Brunner than said he will be
good,Mr.D just wants to go back to the Olympians.Percy then said that’s a real place.That
was what chapter 5 was about.
Chapter 6
In chapter 6 Chiron was showing Percy around the camp and some of the cabins. When
they saw Annabeth Chiron said can you take Percy from here. Cabin eleven looked very
regular to Percy he saw boys and girls on the floor and in sleeping bags.They then went
out of the cabin to continue the tour. Percy looked over and saw Clarisse,she is a camper.
Clarisse said there is a newbie meeting and I will show you where it is. Clarisse took Percy
