Chapter 14
Review Questions:
1. How does the project closure review differ from the performance measurement
control system discussed in chapter 13?
With project closure you are using a large-scale view for project organization. It takes more into
consideration when using this type of system. The performance measurement controls are
measuring mainly just the performance, not the different aspects that can also be looked into.
2. What major information would you expect to find in a project review?
The information that you expect to find in a project review includes almost everything that took
place during the project. From the class, any information gathered during the project, and
improvements and recommendations.
3. Why is it difficult to perform a truly independent, objective review?
It it’s difficult to perform a truly independent objective review because of previous bias and
knowledge of the project. The review takes the entire project into consideration and if you know
the people working on the project then you are already going to have opinions about them.
