Chapter 11 Writing assignment option 1
According to the text punishment is defined as “Any stimulus, when presented or removed after
the occurrence of a behavior, that has the effect of decreasing the future occurrence of that
behavior.” For me punishment is the prolonged removement of a stimulus or given consequence.
I think punishment has a more negative effect on a child since it removes the things, they like
which makes them less likely to really understand their inappropriate behavior. If a child gets
