The 1990s marked the dawn of a digital era when home computers became mainstream and
capable of reaching the rest of the world through the World Wide Web. This revolution
brought convenience along with the need for ethical responsibility to all users. General
guidelines were created to set a standard of behavior that is known today as cyber ethics.
Ethics are important in the computer domain because of the wide spread use of computers
and the Internet by people in every corner of the globe. The world’s population consists of
