Chaos in the Workplace
The story “Orientation” by Daniel Orozco, at first glance, can be taken literally. One may
argue that it is just an odd office space in a fictitious world. One where serial killers are allowed
in the work place. Not to mention the supernatural woman who can see how a coworker will die.
On the contrary, the theme of Orozco’s “Orientation” very clearly is absurdity and chaos in the
workplace, and he is very symbolic in the way he presents this theme.
