For centuries, the term “breadwinner” and “homemaker” has created this stigma for the
gender roles for women and men to have a perfect American Dream. The term breadwinner
implies for men, who have a hand on jobs and which brings home financial stability for
individuals within the family. Whereas the term homemaker implies for women to be stay at
home moms who do the household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and managing the
individuals within the family. These stigmas have also contributed to the potion of writing from
The Feminine Mystique by Betty Feridan, which mentions “a problem with no name”. Women
