My Holy Week Reflection
I spent my Holy week with my family, sibling, and special someone. During the Holy
Thursday, we travelled with him going to Aurora to refresh our body from stress and have a short
vacation. We stayed there until Saturday morning. Holy Week is a time of forgiveness and
reflection. It is a time to embrace our mistakes and shortcomings, and forgive all those who
offended us. Holy Thursday is a celebration of a special mass but we didn’t have a mass in our
sect. But as I look to the waves of the sea, I remembered a statement I’ve read. God gives us the
ingredients for our daily bread, but He expects us to do the baking! This states that we, as
Christians have the responsibility to do our duty faithfully to God because He already prepared
everything for us. The only thing that we should do is to take action. Good Friday is a day of
strict fasting and abstinence. So, we enjoyed the day and waited for 3 o’clock. We just ate fruits
along the seashore. Just after the clock turns three, we pray together silently because we believed
that in this hour Jesus died. After praying, we play some Christian songs as a self-reflection our
shortcomings. Through this, we are able to talk and communicate to God and reflect on what
we’ve done. On Holy Saturday, finally we went home in our house and join the youth activity
