On February 21st, 2017, I attended a concert in Wright Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
This concert was the ECU Concert & Symphonic Band Concert, presented by East
Carolina University School of Music. The entire auditorium was filled with students,
teachers, and parents who all came to support their ECU peers. The concert was split
between two different bands. The concert band was first and the symphonic band went
next. After watching both bands perform, I realized how much hard work and dedication
these students put forth to make this concert the best it could be. Their practice paid off.
