Smoking is a habit that was once socially acceptable, but now the habit has become
disgusting and filthy in the eyes of the general population. Most states won’t even allow a
smoker to smoke inside a public restaurant anymore. The evidence also shows that smokers just
don’t live as long as non-smokers do either. So, why will a smoker continue to smoke even when
their lives depend on it? What causes a smoker to smoke? What are the effects of smoking on the
body, and on the people around them? While there are several causes of smoking there are many
effects, from the way a smoker is treated by the people around them to the way a smoker smells
compared to a non-smoker.
Most smokers start smoking when they are too young to even buy cigarettes. They are
young and naïve and believe that they can quit whenever they want to. They have no idea that
