1. Discuss the nature of the market structure and the demand for Cisco’s products.
The nature of the market structure and demand of Cisco Systems is its
business market which is based on fewer but larger buyers. What does it mean? It
means that even if they have fewer clients compared to other companies, they still
have good and long relationships with their customers and their buyer purchase their
products not in small quantity of order rather they buy products in large quantities.
Hence, this kind of system (with few customers) has many advantages for Cisco’s
customers, such as faster and better products and services.
Cisco’s business market is basically made up from the necessities of their
customers which are made by their final customers. In other words, the demand is
derived from final customers; so what Cisco is trying to do is just basically trying to
understand for first what the necessities of the final consumers are, in such a way to
