When Lei Jun founded Xiaomi, he put a team consisting of skilled people
from various companies, such as Google, Microsoft, Motorola, Yahoo etc.
They were brought together to bring Lei Jun’s vision to life:
Innovation for everyone
Xiaomi fans (“Mi-fans”) were engaged from the founding of the company,
contributing to the process of developing new products
Co-creation and co-design of Xiaomi products by Mi-fans is very
interesting in regards to development of open innovation
