Integrated Assessment: Raul Case Study
The purpose of this assignment is to complete a bio-psycho-social-spiritual
assessment and plan an intervention for the Raul Case Study. In this I will incorporate
theories and scholarly articles to demonstrate my understanding of the systems/person-
in-environment approach to human functioning.
Biological
Raul Salazar is a young boy that attends school and is in fourth grade. His
teachers suspect he has a learning disability due to his performance decrease in school.
His teachers have also noticed he suffers from anxiety. It is assumed Raul’s anxiety is a
genetic disposition shared with his mother. However, there is no medical determination
that has proved this. Mrs. Salazar does share that she suffered from multiple sicknesses
