I do not think Julia should agree to host the meeting on Jon’s terms. She was very specific when
she explained to him why she had to charge the rates she quoted and also the $1000 per day for
the banquet room rental. I think Jon is unreasonable, and as stated at the beginning of the case
study, he is used to getting his way, I would imagine because he is a bully.
I think Julia handled the situation very professionally and had her hotel’s financial loss/gain in its
