1. The mistake that Rita has making is that she has not been enforcing the
rules and has been looking the other way since they are all high value
performers. The effect that it had on her is that her boss Sam has
noticed that and now Rita has to fix it.
2. I do not agree with that because, yes it can be important but at the time
if someone finds out what is going on the business could possibly shut
down since they are not following the rules, all that takes is one person
to make one comment.
3. I would say yes because depending on what the business is and what
department is in charge of in that could depend what kind of discipline
needs to happen. Also because some departments are different then
others so it would be handled differently.
4. I thought that Sam had a good approach because Rita has been letting
that happen for a while now and that at some point she would have
known she was going to get in trouble. The risk that he is taking is that
Rita could possibly quit and she was good at her job. He handled the
interview as best as he could because if someone was to find out that
could have been bad for the business so he needed to fix the situation.
5. A) The pro would be that the job could be better and she wouldn’t have
