Alex Sander is a relatively new product manager at a skin-care based company
called Landon. He is a determined, aggressive manager. The case goes into detail about
his intellect and initiative, but also tells about his inflexibility and entitlement. Alex
believes (perhaps, rightfully so) that he is one of the best product managers Landon has
ever seen since he was able to produce two new products simultaneously. However,
because of his arrogance, he tends to micromanage the people on his teams. Sander
needs to learn to delegate responsibilities to the people on his teams if he wishes to be
an efficient and successful manager.
Alex definitely is very driven and determined to get projects done as soon as
possible. He often works many more hours and more aggressively than others in order
to finish a project far before its due date. He expects others on his team to do the same,
